Made in blender 3.0. Rendered in eevee.
The main goal of this project was to exercise my armature-building/rigging abilities. I wanted to create a character that required complex constraint and driver relationships between bones for an abnormal character, such as a quadruped robot with numerous unnatural joints and pistons that each only move on one axis individually and rely on each other to move the character on other axes.
The model and the environment were assembled (mostly) from photo scanned assets obtained from Ian Hubert's Patreon (here: https://www.patreon.com/IanHubert/posts ) along with some custom assets created by me as needed.
The assets that makeup the robot include various hardware "greebles" as well as parts from a B52 Bomber and a tugboat.
